Do you have a friend that loves to travel? Are you a jetsetter yourself trying to figure out what to put on your Christmas list? Have a look at these ideas, sure to make any recipient feel like they’re first class, all the way!
1. Sleep Mask
There’s all sorts of variations on this old favorite. You can peruse Etsy to find one made to look like the mask worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. You can buy masks made of silk or scented with aromatherapy. The real secret to eye mask success, however, is making sure you buy them cupped, so the material doesn’t lay flat against your face and preserves your makeup.
2. No hassle carry –on
How often had you had to check your carry-on bag recently? It seems like enforcement of carry-on limits is on the rise, and luggage that may have previously been deemed acceptable just isn’t cutting it anymore. Give your favorite traveler the gift of no stress with a bag that fits any airline’s dimensions. Preferably hard case so there’s no danger of going over limitations with expandable pockets. Keep it at under 22x13x9 inches.
3. Clinique All About Eyes Serum
There’s so many wonderful things about this product. It has caffeine in it, so it helps with puffy eyes in the morning. It comes in the form of an eye roller, featured on Dr. Oz as one of the best methods to increase circulation around the eyes and prevent wrinkles. And, last but not least, it’s under 3.5 ounces and can fit in your carry-on bag. Check!
4. Professional Camera
Is your favorite traveler addicted to Instagram? Does she shoot phenomenal photos on her iPhone 7? Imagine the pictures she could capture on a real camera! Any budget traveler who’s not into photography seriously won’t splurge on this for themselves, but it makes the difference between blurry photos that look good on social media and high resolution shots that she can reproduce and display later on.
5. Alpaca socks
Nothing keeps you warmer while hiking in the mountains or trekking through your favorite city. Even if your favorite traveler lives in a warm climate, she will be sure to bring these out at the first sign of chilly weather. They are soft, lavish and unique. I myself have 4 pairs from Peru!
6. TrèStiQue Makeup Basics
Any girl on the go needs makeup that is just as functional as she is. TrèStiQue is a line of makeup that fits that bill, featuring 2-in-1 beauty products with built-in tools and magnetic caps. You can pack one product and have a stunning lip stain on one end and gloss on the other. The makeup slides on without fuss, so no more tugging at the corner of your eye to get the liner on straight. Best of all, the price is right on these products, so you get designer quality makeup without breaking the bank.
7. Portable steamer
I have a tiny portable steamer and to date it is the best random T.J. Maxx purchase I’ve ever made. I use it more than an iron, and for all of my clothes, from silk to cotton. This is especially handy when traveling with suits or business attire.
8. Key chain hand sanitizers
Everyone likes to travel, but not everyone likes the germs that come with it. The fact is that airplanes, public transport and hotels all have dirty surfaces. Help your favorite traveler feel better about her exposure with a hand sanitizer that can hang from her key chain. Bath and Body Works sell them in all types of scents, with the holder as well. These make great stocking stuffers.
9. LulaRoe leggings
These leggings are rumored to be the greatest thing since sliced bread, and that’s saying something. For the girl on the go, give the gift of comfort. Now she can relax on her 10-hour flight. Check out my go-to vendor, Ashley, for more details!
10. Magazine subscription
Plane rides get boring and there’s only so much TV you can watch. While most people will carry their e-readers with them to avoid bulk, there’s no shame in having one or two light-hearted magazines to switch it up a bit. You can find excellent deals on Groupon. For under $10, this is a gift that will keep on giving.
